Here’s my experience with the Furitek Grasshopper Frame Kit in blue for my SCX24 C10. First off, the frame is really solid, it’s made from lightweight aluminum, so it doesn’t add much weight, but you can still feel the sturdiness. The blue finish looks great with the C10 and gives a sleek, custom vibe. Installation was pretty straightforward, and if you have Furitek electronics and transmission case the kit’s compatibility made the whole setup smoother. Overall, it’s been a fantastic upgrade, especially for handling and durability on tougher conditions
This chassis transforms the 1/18th scale Capra into something that is amazing. It may not be the absolute best of the competition crawlers. But it must be very close. I haven't had the opportunity to give it a try. But it's obviously now a very capable crawler. It's ugly as heck. But it's all about utility and not looks. Some may like the look. And I like that it looks very capable. It's a simple conversion. A few screws out and a few back in and it's done. Anyone who has done any types of mods to an RC car should easily be able to do this conversion. Now I intend on doing all of the other mods that are available and then eventually put the original back together. Because there are that many mods for the Capra UTB18. Brushless motor and esc with a different receiver. Maybe some TReal axles and metal links. And some aftermarket dampers and springs. Don't know what kind yet. Then I will have a full on comp crawler and the original UTB18. Lol
We absolutely love this crawler it comes out of the box as one of the best in its class, it’s like a already upgraded crawler so you really don’t need anything to have a great time, it has just an amazing brushless system already installed, these crawlers from Furitek ar amazing, we have a few of them and Love them so much that we will be adding to are small fleet of them…
